MYOPIA MANAGEMENT THAT WORKS

Managing myopia involves a multifaceted approach aimed at both correcting vision and slowing the progression of nearsightedness. Dr. Melissa Willey at Ocean Eyes Optometry is a skilled myopia management practitioner who can assist patients at whatever stage they are at. Two key myopia treatments offered at our office include:

ORTHOKERATOLOGY

Rigid Gas Permeable contact lenses designed for overnight wear to reshape the eye. Vision insurance may be applied to the material fees. Fee Structure:

Year 1 (Global Fee): $2100
- Includes the pair of lenses that will be worn for the year
- Includes all follow-up visits necessary to determine the appropriate fit/vision within 90 days.
Years 2, 3 and so on.(Global Fee): $750
- Includes additional set of lenses
- Includes follow-up visits necessary to achieve desired vision/fit (if necessary) and a 6-month check.

Cancellation Policy: 50% credit is issued if within 30 days of the initial fit.

MISIGHT MYOPIA CONTACT LENSES

FDA approved soft contact lens myopia treatment option available at this time. These are soft daily/single use contact lenses specifically designed for myopia control.

▪ Cost: $1700

o Included in year 1: Access to the MiSight app, visits at 1 month and 6 months, 12-month supply of contact lenses and exchanges free of charge (if necessary)

o Included in year 2: All of the above except for the 1-month visit.

o Cancellation before 30 days with $1280 refunded (price of lenses only).
